Words of Wisdom:
“A word to the wise is sufficient.” USAF Col. Grady Edwards
Hubby Frank and I have two cats, Buddy and Snowy. Frank is a quiet extrovert that’s energized by people and I’m a boisterous introvert that’s energized by solitude. (We are Seventh-day Adventist.) On Frank’s Sabbath, we go visit friends and/or family. On my Sabbath, we head for someplace outdoors, Fernwood Gardens, Bonnyville Park, or the Big Lake.
How long have you been with Blue Star?
This November it will be five years.
What is your favorite part of working at Blue Star?
When I can explain a rather “geeky” but a necessary concept and the response is, “Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, I get it now…,” that is simply delightful.
What fictional character do you relate to best?
Reepicheep from the Chronicles of Narnia.
If you had to listen to the same song forever, what would it be?
“As Water to the Thirsty.”
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
If I didn’t get tired and required sleep, it would be fantastic.
What is your favorite pastime?
Reading, crocheting, and gardening.
If you could choose anywhere in the world, where would you travel?
One place I did not get to when I was stationed in Germany with the Air Force, was my ancestral home of Scotland.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Some kind of scientist.
What is your favorite food?
That’s another tough one. Let’s go with non-alcohol tiramisu.
What electronic device can you not live without?
My Android Note 4 phone. (Was so looking forward to the Note 7.)
