Jen Bontrager has been with Blue Star since 2012, now working with us today as the Human Resources Administrator and in Purchasing. She especially appreciates the family culture that’s been created here at Blue Star. Jen is a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt; she’s extroverted, self-described as “crazy”, and cares a lot about the people in her life. Her words of wisdom are:

Patrick Buller has been with Blue Star since 2013, now working with us today as a Systems Engineer. Patrick appreciates being here at Blue Star because of the way the team continually works to improve its processes. Patrick is a father and self-described “wannabe handyman”. He’s hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim and back, is an avid Denver Broncos fan, and is currently learning to like salad. His words of wisdom are:
“Perception is reality.”
Teresa Buwa has been working here at Blue Star for just under five years, and currently holds the position of Support Technician I. Teresa enjoys explaining vital technical concepts to clients in a way they can understand and appreciate.
Outside of work. Teresa is a married Seventh Day Adventist with two cats, and alternates activities every Sunday afternoon with her husband Frank – either visiting with friends and family or going off into the great outdoors.

Bill Haughee joined the team in Business Development at Blue Star just under a year and a half ago – he loves helping the company grow by making sales. In his free time, Bill is an avid cyclist and recreational golfer and loves spending time with his grandchildren. He’s lucky to have two already, and a third on the way!
Very passionate Chicago Cubs fan; former clarinet player; played on only team to go undefeated and win city championship in basketball at Battell Elementary
Grant Martin, our Client Technology Manager, has been with Blue Star for three years, during which he has greatly enjoyed his work because of our team and core values. Grant believes it’s those qualities that make Blue Star more of a family than a group of coworkers.
Originally from Canada, Grant spends his time outside of work playing guitar and leading music at his church, volunteering, and reading. His words of wisdom are:
“Fear of cost should not be the deciding factor in your decision-making.”
Cindy Miller has been with Blue Star for three months and counting, and currently holds the position of Administrative Assistant. Her favorite part of working here is the trust that’s put in the staff, and the skills that everyone brings to the table.
Outside of Blue Star, Cindyand her husband enjoy international travel. Their favorite trip was when they spent time in Borneo with orangutans. Cindy’s passion/obsession is digital photography/scrapbooking – she jokingly says, “If it’s not in the scrapbook, it didn’t happen.”

I am a huge rock music fan, I have been to many live concerts over the years. I have probably seen close to 100 bands live.
Luke Morningstar has been with Blue Star for twelve years, and currently holds the position of Technology VP. He enjoys working at Blue Star because of the schedule flexibility as well as the work culture that pushes you to constantly change and improve. Outside of work, Luke is a husband and father, instructs in a local marching band, and love sports.
Jamesie Morningstar has been with Blue Star for twelve years, and today holds the position of VP of Communications. Her favorite part of working here is the “uncommon people” that are the foundation of what we do and how we do it.
Outside of Blue Star, Jamesie is a Hawaiian island girl and military brat, proudly married and mother of one son. Her words of wisdom are:

As President, Jon Morningstar has been leading Blue Star since 2004 – he loves working here with the strong Blue Star team that helps clients impact the world. Jon is a husband and father who enjoys bike riding, camping, and spending time with his family.
Michael Pletcher has been with Blue Star for eight years, now working with us today as a Project Engineer. There’s a lot that Michael likes about Blue Star, including implementing new IT products, being a “tech evangelist” for the community, and developing efficient and minimally intrusive implementations.
Nick Schwartzhas been working here at Blue Star for more than a year and a half, and currently holds the position of Network Administrator. Nick enjoys working at Blue Star because of the great atmosphere, wonderful coworkers, and because there’s always something to learn. In his free time, Nick is an avid gamer and dog lover, and enjoys writing apps.
Steve Smith joined the team as Client Technology Manager at Blue Star less than a year ago, but he’s already come to appreciate the team approach to finding solutions. Outside of work, Steve is a father of three daughters, lives on a small farm with horses and chickens, and was born and raised a Yooper.
Tim Wagnerhas been with Blue Star for seven years, and currently holds the position of Support Team Manager. He loves working at Blue Star because of the fun and light-hearted company culture.
Happily married for five years, PC gaming since DOS, We have three big dogs who keep us busy, I am a car enthusiast who’s owned ten cars already.
